Prayer Groups

To strengthen our prayer ministry at Grace, small groups meet together and pray.  Under the leadership of the Prayer Committee (Ted and Dottie Brown, Lisa Gearheart, Jan Kirkham and Paul Carter), the following prayer groups are underway and active:

Children and Youth

  • Focus: Our children and youth

  • Meeting Details: Sunday afternoons, starting January 31, 4-5 p.m. at the church.

Missions

  • Focus: Missions and missionaries we support
  • Contact: Curt Wilbur (curtandjanis@yahoo.com)
  • Meeting Details: 9:30-10:00 a.m., 1st Sunday of each month, in Paul Carter's Office

Our Community and Outreach

  • Focus: Community leaders and the outreach efforts of Grace members
  • Contact: Rick and Sylvia Kirgis (kirgisr@wlu.edu)
  • Meeting Details: Begins Monday, February 1st, 1 PM, Rick and Sylvia's home (15 Grey Dove Rd., Lexington)

Congregational Concerns

  • Focus: Church leadership, finances, worship, education, music, shut-ins, etc.

  • Meeting Details: First & third Saturday of each month, 8:30-9:30 AM, at the church

Rafiki

  • Focus: Rafiki missionaries and villagers in 10 Aftrican countries

  • Meeting Details: 9:00-10:00 a.m., 1st Friday of each month at Grace

Church Building Issues 

  • Focus: Finances and physical move to Greenhouse Village
