Welcome Rev. Nathan Scholl

New Assistant Pastor of Grace Presbyterian

On November 14, the Session extended the call to the Rev. Nathan Scholl and he accepted.  Nathan will begin serving as our new Assistant Pastor on March 1, 2012.

A Message from Nathan

Christi and I heard some wonderful news on the phone last night!  Paul called to tell us that the elders had voted to extend me a call to be the assistant pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church.  This call is truly an answer to prayer and a joyful ending to the journey that God has been leading us on.  We have been so encouraged by all of the people from Grace that we have had a chance to meet, and feel privileged to work with such a wonderful body of believers.  Thank you all for the warm welcome over the last few months and we will pray with you that God will use us in any way that He sees fit to build up, encourage, and spur on Grace Presbyterian Church. May this new journey that we take together be for the glory of God and for the expansion of His kingdom here on earth.

God Bless,

Nathan and Christi Scholl

A Message from Paul

I have every expectation that Nathan will have a successful ministry among us. His gifts and personality will complement those that God has already given us at Grace and I believe will open new doors of ministry for us. I am excited about the possibilities for the future and look forward to the years ahead and how God will work among us as Nathan, Christi, and their children come to serve Jesus with us.

A Message from the Search Committee

One behalf of our Search Committee (John Pearson - Chair, Greg Gearheart, David Carter, Mary Sue Driscoll, Jane Hoadley, Rick Kirgis, Janis Wilbur), we are very excited about Nathan and Christi coming to Lexington.  The Committee was unanimous in recommending Nathan to the Session based upon his gifts for ministry and the needs of our growing congregation.  We give thanks that the Lord brought Nathan and Christi to our Committee, and we look forward to how He will use them in the life of our church.
